The Management Committee has asked that certain members 'moderate' their tendency to swear, or tell risqué jokes, at the club. This is because we now have quite a number of younger members and such language around them is unacceptable. This also applies to crews on the water where what is said actually carries quite a long way. We are trying to attract a younger membership and this kind of behaviour is undermining those efforts. We really shouldn't have to mention this but in future, and to those concerned, please engage brain before opening mouth.

Goodbye to a
bit of Club History

.

This year the club will say goodbye to an old friend. Bob Sumner's 'De Waterman' has been sold to a club member and TW employee Tim Golding. Bob built De Waterman himself and she has been a familiar sight along the waterfront at Aquarius for many years. I understand she isn't going far so we hope, after some refurbishment, we will see her occasionally. Our good wishes go with her and to her new owner.
